Comfort preferences

“For example: gentler volume, seated vs lying down, sound sensitivity, or anything you’d like me to avoid

Any focus or intention

You can keep it general—e.g., relaxation, stress, sleep, feeling more balanced. And a sentence is enough, e.g., rest, grounding, clarity, reset, emotional release, sleep support

Anything else

Consent

Why try sound therapy?

Deep relaxation

Support your nervous system to settle and soften

Improved sleep & energy

Many people report improved sleep and steadier energy in the days following a session

Emotional release & clarity

Sound vibrations support letting go of tension, processing emotions and gaining mental clarity

Mind-body awareness

Reconnect with breath, sensation, and internal cues

Each session is different—no outcomes are guaranteed

What to Expect

Settle in

Lie down or sit comfortably in a relaxed space.

Consultation (20–30 mins)

We clarify what you’d like support with, any sensitivities, and how you want the session to feel.

Sound journey (60 mins)

You rest while I play a blend of instruments (e.g., gongs, bowls, chimes and drums), adjusting in real time.

Integration

We close with time to ground and reorient—so you leave steady and supported.

Who is it For?

Sound therapy is for anyone looking to relax, reset, or go deeper—no experience needed. Sessions are inclusive and tailored to you.

It can be especially supportive if you’re:

  • feeling stressed, overstimulated, or “stuck in your head”

  • carrying tension in your body

  • navigating change and wanting space to recalibrate

  • looking for a restorative practice that doesn’t require lots of talking

  • The 5Rs

All sound therapy sessions have been crafted using the 5Rs model from the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) developed by Lyz and Clifford Sax. Here’s how the 5Rs come to life during a session:

    • Resonance: Connect with or tune into sound that resonates with your physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual state. This stage sparks self-recognition, aligning you with what truly matters to you.

    • Resistance: Notice any separation or blocks, perhaps a feeling of being stuck or triggered. Resistance often highlights areas ready for release, offering an opportunity to soften and let go.

    • Responsibility: Take ownership of your experience, tapping into your potential for transformation. This empowering step reminds you that you can direct your energy toward thriving.

    • Reflection: Process what emerges with gentle self-awareness. Reflect on your journey, building trust in your intuition as you uncover insights and understanding.

    • Release: Experience liberation as energy shifts, whether through an emotional or physical release, a fresh insight, or a renewed sense of connection to your intention.

Backed by BAST’s 25+ years of expertise, sound healing paired with the 5Rs model offers a profound way to engage with the inner world, providing a roadmap for processing and transforming whatever may arise, leading to lasting positive change.

  • A deeply creative and meditative experience inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi: repairing broken pottery with gold. This immersive session invited participants to embrace human flaws and scars not as imperfections, but as opportunities for healing, growth and transformation.

Led by Simon - a qualified sound therapist, musician, and visual artist; and Jade - a holistic health scientist and poet.

The 3-hour workshop provided a meaningful and safe space to reconnect with oneself and others.

    What we explored together:

    • Guided meditation: A calming body scan and visualisation to ground the mind and body.

    • Sound-bath experience: Immersive soundscapes to explore inner and outer landscapes.

    • Kintsugi-inspired art: A co-creative process reflecting the beauty in imperfection.

    • Group sharing and reflection: A space for meaningful dialogue and collective insight.

Participants left feeling renewed, inspired, and connected, embodying the essence of wholeness through the spirit of Kintsugi.

 Questions

  • Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners.

  • We need a room large enough for everyone to sit in a circle with a chair. We can adapt to boardrooms, conference halls or even outdoor spaces (weather permitting).

  • We provide a range of percussion instruments, not just drums. We will manage the volume to a comfortable and energetic level.
